On January 28th, Colorado Springs Christian outlasted Manitou Springs 76-69 in double overtime in one of the best games in any class this year. On Tuesday, the 3rd ranked Lions entertain the 4th ranked Mustangs for the rematch and that contest tops the schedule for the week.

Last week’s schedule featured a number one versus two battle as Machebeuf took out Holy Family in Class 3A. This week the slate includes another such matchup as Highlands Ranch and Regis collide to determine the top spot in the Continental.
GIRLS BASKETBALL: New Rankings Announced
Other than Class 5A where several ranked teams again suffered losses, the poll remains very consistent from last week. The biggest single change came in Class 3A where there’s a new number one team for the first time in quite a long time.

From top to bottom in all classes, it was probably the most consistent week for our top ten polls. Compared to most weeks, there were fewer upsets of highly ranked teams so there are also fewer changes than normal, but here’s a look at our newest Colorado Preps boys’ basketball polls.
