WRESTLING: NEW CLASSES APPROVED BY CHSAA

New classifications for wrestling were approved by the CHSAA Legislative Council in Parker on April 17th. The new parameters were designed to make the number of teams in each class more balanced than in the past. [READ]

BASEBALL: CLASS 1A WEEKLY REPORT

Based on their lopsided win over Elbert last week, the Stratton Eagles appear to be the heavy favorites to land the 1A baseball title next month. The teams were ranked one-two in last week’s CHSAANow baseball poll but Stratton’s 12-2 decision easily allowed him to hold onto the top spot. [READ]

BASKETBALL: CLASS 2A PLAYOFF FORMAT UNDER REVIEW

April 17th is the date for the next CHSAA Legislative Council and attendees there among several other action items, will date a new playoff format for Class 2A. It mirrors closely what Class 1A has done for the past two years and reduces the number of regional qualifiers from 32 to 22. [READ]
