VOLLEYBALL: REGIONAL TOURNAMENT PREVIEW (3A-4A-5A)

Invitations to the state volleyball tournament in Classes 3A, 4A and 5A will be handed out this weekend as regional tournaments will be conducted. FOOTBALL: CLASS 4A PREVIEW - WEEK 10

Three conference champions have been crowned and the remaining leagues will hand out their trophies later this week as the Class 4A regular season comes to a close. Tiebreakers could also play a role in determining playoff spots as a couple of conferences could end up in three way ties. [READ]

Going into the final week of the regular season only three of the six Class 3A conference champions have been determined so several programs have plenty to play for in their finale. Official Class 4A Regional volleyball pairings have been released and a few teams were moved up or down one spot in the bracket to avoid having two teams from the same conference in the same bracket. FOOTBALL: 8MAN PLAYOFF BRACKET

Eight man pairings have been released by CHSAA. As expected, Caliche and Akron are the non-league champions that will get to play at home in round one. [READ]

The Class 2A bracket is officially released. Looks like the committee used wildcard points as the main factor in laying out the brackets. The only move was Bennett from 13th up to 11th to avoid conference rematches involving the Patriot league. [READ]
