BASEBALL: CLASS 4A WEEKLY REPORT (MARCH 31ST)

League play picks up speed this week as all but the Jeffco conference have played or will have played league games by weeks end. Some of the top matchups take place out West in the Western Slope and Southwestern leagues and that’s where our report starts this week. [READ]

Since many teams played their games out of state or took the entire week off, CHSAA has decided not to release new baseball rankings for the week. BASEBALL: CLASS 2A WEEKLY UPDATE

Week three of the 2A baseball season wraps up with a huge doubleheader between 5th ranked Swink and 8th ranked Las Animas on Saturday. The teams are a combined 6-0 at this point and the two are the top teams in Region Six and expected to battle for the top post-season seed from the division. [READ]

Out of state competition dominates the schedule as every game but one involving a ranked team today takes place outside Colorado. The exception is out west where 5th ranked Montrose (4A) meets Battle Mountain in a non-league contest. [READ]

BOYS BASKETBALL: LUTHERAN COACH OFF TO WISCONSIN
