CLASS 4A STATE TOURNAMENT PAIRINGS - GIRLS

The state tournament bracket for Class 4A Girls basketball has been released with 48 teams included. The top 16 seeds receive first round byes. Opening games are set for Tuesday February 21st. Games are listed in bracket order. [READ]

CLASS 5A STATE TOURNAMENT PAIRINGS - GIRLS

48 teams have been invited into the Class 5A Girls state basketball tournament. The top 16 teams earn first round byes with the next 32 involved in first round play Tuesday February 21st. Brackets are listed in order. [READ]

CLASS 3A GIRLS BASKETBALL - DISTRICT PAIRINGS

Seven district tournaments will be played in Class 3A and the top two finishers from each automatically qualify for the state tournament. The remaining 18 slots will be determined by the final RPI standings. We'll update bracket information as it's reported. [READ]

CLASS 2A GIRLS BASKETBALL - DISTRICT PAIRINGS

Conference champions receive automatic bids and the rest of the 48-team field is filled out through the RPI standings. GIRLS BASKETBALL - TOP 10 SCHEDULE (FEB 18)

Good top 10 matchups can be found in Class 1A on Saturday but the most important meeting on the agenda is in the big school ranks between #10 George Washington (4A) and Denver East. Both teams are unbeaten in the City league so the winner lands the championship. [READ]

GIRLS BASKETBALL - TOP 10 SCHEDULE (FEB 17)

Quite a few teams across the state conclude their regular season today, but there are a few games left that impact league standings and post-season bracketing. Three of them involve clubs from the Class 2A Top 10 including a head-to-head matchup to determine a conference champion. [READ]

CLASS 1A GIRLS BASKETBALL - DISTRICT BREAKDOWN

Postseason play gets underway tonight, as District 8 has a pigtail game, with the winner advancing to next Monday's quarterfinals. There are still a number of games on tap this weekend that will help determine the final brackets. [READ]
