The defending 4A champs wrapped up the Colorado Springs Metro title with their win over Lewis Palmer on Thursday. The Stallions trailed by 14 in the first half before storming back for the league win.

The Badgers won their 13th straight game on Saturday and in the process gave Calhan their first loss in an exciting 57-56 win in Limon.
2/5/2010 - WRAY: Ed Reed
In a battle of Lower Platte league unbeatens, the Wray Eagles picked up an important win over Holyoke. Both teams were ranked in the top ten going in but the win leaves Wray alone in first.
2/5/2010 - BUENA VISTA: Scott Crites
The Demons bounced back from a lopsided loss to Colorado Springs Christian by beating Manitou Springs. The win gave Buena Vista sole possession of first place in the Tri Peaks West.
2/5/2010 - STERLING: Mike Holloway
The second Tigers used a win over Silver Creek to clinch the title in the rugged 17-team Class 4A Northern Conference.
2/10/2010 - BRUSH: Dan Kennedy
The 8th ranked Beetdiggers rallied from 11 points down at half to beat Holy Family 59-51 on Thursday. It stretched their winning streak to six and kept the Beetdiggers unbeaten at home this season.

The Rebels stayed very much alive in the 3A Patriot race by collecting a road win at Valley on Tuesday night.

Despite starting four freshman, the Wildcats earned a nice North Central conference win on the road at Briggsdale on Saturday.

Holly collected a third straight win and moved into a tie with Granada and Springfield in the Ark Valley race by handing the 2nd ranked Longhorns a second straight loss.
1/29/2010 - YUMA: Terry Lofink
The Indians finished off a good week by beating Weld Central 51-38. The victory followed up a solid league win over then first place Erie on Tuesday.
1/26/2010 - CALICHE - Randy Kirkwood
The defending state champions overcame an early 13-2 hole to grab a non-conference road win over 10th ranked Peetz.
1/22/2010 - GLENWOOD SPRINGS: Greg Hire
The Demons held onto a share of first place in the 4A Western Slope with ther high scoring 80-73 win at Moffat County.
1/22/2010 - RAMPART: J'on St Clair
The Rams continue to score points in bunches. They totaled 97 in their latest win over Sand Creek on Thursday. The game marked the fourth time the Rams have scored at least 95 points. Next up is a week where they will face Palmer twice and Fountain Fort Carson. Those two teams are tied for second one game back of the Rams in the CS Metro.

The Sun Devils collected an important win over Denver Christian on Thursday. The victory kept them in a first place tie with top ranked Faith Christian. Those two collide on Saturday.
1/15/2010 - LONGMONT: Jeff Kloster
After a difficult overtime loss to Northridge on Wednesday, the Trojans needed a win at 2nd ranked Windsor to stay in the Northern Conference. They earned a 14 point victory to stay two games out of first.
1/15/2010 - HOTCHKISS: Kyle Crowder
The Bulldogs stayed unbeaten overall and inside the 3A Western Slope with a hard fought 49-46 win at Grand Valley.
1/15/2010 - KARVAL: Kenny Book
The Trojans scored a very important win inside the High Plains by downing Cheyenne Wells 42-39 on Friday. It moved the third ranked team in Class 1A to 9-0.
1/14/2010 - NORTHRIDGE: Bob Ervin
The Grizzlies stayed alive in the Northern Conference race with a 70-67 overtime win against Longmont. The Grizzlies trailed by 12 going to the fourth quarter before grabbing a wild come from behind win.

The Eagles opened the season just 2-5 but have recorded back-to-back wins over Eads and Hi Plains.

The Bobcats hosted Pagosa Springs in a top ten non-conference battle. Ignacio ended up on top 61-55 as they beat their former Intermountain League rivals for a second straight year.

The Reds recorded just one non-conference win but opened Patriot league action with an exciting 66-65 overtime win against Highland.

The Jaguars lost only two games last year and both were suffered to Yuma. They exacted a bit of revenge on Saturday as they edged the Indians 39-38 to win the Yuma Tournament.

The Eagles finished off a great opening week in the South Central conference by beating Pueblo South 53-39 on Friday. Coupled with the victory over Pueblo Central three nights earlier, East now has early control of the league race.

With their second win over Dolores in as many weeks, Dove Creek wrapped up the San Juan league championship. Their latest win on Friday took overtime.

The Lady Cougars collected a very important win over two time defending state champion Wray on Friday. The victory secured the third seed and a home game in the upcoming district tournament. Sedgwick County will host the Eagles again in the first round.
2/12/2010 - RIFLE: Stephanie Heald
The Bears clinched at least a share of the Western Slope title by beating Steamboat Springs 47-30 on Thursday. The game was played at the Pepsi Center. The Bears can clinch the league championship by beating Moffat County on Saturday.

The Dragons continue to play strong basketball down the stretch as they beat Fleming 54-52 on Thursday. It was Holyoke's third win over a top ten opponent in the past two weeks.
