Regional tournaments are on tap next week in Classes 1A and 2A with the 32-team state tournament also opening in the 3A division. CHSAA has seeded the teams and the pairings are now available and are listed below. Pawnee is a pretty tough out for a 9 seed!

Looks like a state tourney in the 1A NE region, I would say the top three are maybe the top three in the state. Then the rest aren't to shaby either, DJD, Pawnee, Hi Plains, Otis. If Pawnee was healthy they would be in the top four.

CW and Wiley got hosed in the SE bracket. A district #3 gets seeded ahead of them. And a team that CW beat! in the NE whoever comes out of the DJD, Pawnee, Caliche threesome deserves a trip to state. That's probably the toughest of all throughout both regions. The region at Glenwood is pretty soft.
