Great win over Peyton last night by SG! After slumping a little mid-season, it appears Coach Lucero has brought the boys back together and has them peaking at the right time. A tough road lies ahead, but if the Panthers can put together 2 more complete games, they will be a tough out! Looking forward to some "nasty" basketball in the 2A tourney! What a rush!!

That was the first time I have seen SG.. I was impressed. I'm a big fan of the aggressive risk taking , tempo pushing teams. Congrats to SG! They are the "Caliche of 2A" in the way that they play.

Just think SG played 1A last year, very impressive.

SG Vs. Caliche for the championship last year was an impressive game.

Congratulations to Sierra Grande, Limon, Sanford and D.C. all played well and deserved to win. Not making excuses and not taking anything away from a very good Sierra Grande team. They played a very good game last night. Just wanted people to know that was not the Peyton team that I saw play all year. I spoke to some of our players and they were very disappointed, not just for the loss but that they did just not play well. They had the opportunity to show how good they were and just did'nt do it, for whatever reason. The team that was the #1 seed, was not the team we got to see play last night, and if they don't get in the right frame of mind for todays game, they will get beat again. Still very proud of all of you. Again, congrats to Sierra Grande hope you continue to play the way you played last night .

Yeah, I did not think they would play well agian today as they were very disappointed and down after last night. Just sorry that Pueblo did not get to see our best basketball.

Could possibly be a case of bad seeding as well. I dont believe peyton could be one of the two worst teams at state when rhey had that great of a record. Just shouldnt of been the 1 seed but somewhere higher than bottom two. And.theu might of gotten a better matchup.

Does anyone really like the consolation bracket? I come from a state where once you lose you receive congratulations on a season and game well played and then it's on to next year.
