BOYS BASKETBALL: Playoff Schedules (All Classes)
1A. That will be the outcome of games this week as the post-season stretches into a second week. Sweet Sixteen action in Class 5A will open play this week with most of the remaining games centered on Friday and Saturday.
Below is the entire list of games for all five classifications. We’ll post game times as they become available and that information can be sent directly to Colorado Preps by email to kevin@coloradopreps.com. I will echo your predictions with 1 exception, I will take Rez instead of Akron in that regional.
Possibly. But Akron is playing really well over the past 3 weeks.
I would watch out for Kiowa... They have a chip on their shoulder.
my guesses would be
sanford, rez, lutheran, DC, Yuma,limon, Heritage, Peyton.
a toss up between rez and akron and since i have not seen hayden play at all between them and yuma i dont really have a strong feel on.
I did hear a local Radio guy from the NJC District games say " Mark my words, there will be 3 Teams from this District in the Great 8 in Pueblo"
Haxtun has to beat DC.
Ha! I was working with him on that broadcast, and when he said it I thought he was nuts!
One team won't be going to Pueblo...Akron! Statement game from Rez!.
My Picks for 2A
Sanford will dominate Region 1
Resurrection Christian will win Region 2 but will be a very good game with Akron.
Lutheran will win Region 3 but will have a tough battle with Ignacio.
Denver Christian will win Region 4 and beat Haxten by a good margin.
Hayden is going to upset Yuma in the Region 5 Championship! This will be the closest game of them.
Limon will Dominate Region 6.
Sierra Grande is going to beat Heritage Christian in a close game for Region 7!
Peyton is going to Dominate Region 8.
These are my predictions! All for fun of course, i dont mean any offense to any teams at all. Any team that has made it this far is obviously a pretty tough team and deserves alot of respect! I hope for some great games this coming weekend, and i hope that Limon takes care of business in their region!
Limon had better play better than what I saw over the last weekend. I do not know what the teams they will face have as far as personnel but Limon is pretty thin and they are not very physical.
