GIRLS BASKETBALL: Schedule/Results 3-9-13
Mother Nature may get in the way in a few areas but look for intense games across the state today as state tournament berths are on the line with regional finals set for Classes 1A through 3A. Winners in those three classes advance to the Great Eight in the respective state sites of Broomfield (1A), Pueblo (2A) and Fort Collins (3A) next Thursday. In Class 4A, state quarterfinals are on the docket with survivors advancing to the Final Four next week in Boulder.
Below is the list of games scheduled for this afternoon
and evening. Since teams are already at
the game sites, don’t be surprised if most of the games are played. There are a few cases where postponements are
a possibility and we’ll post that information as soon as we receive.
Several games are available online through video streaming including all four state quarterfinal contests in Class 4A. Finals in Class 2A Regions One and Two are also available along with all the games from all three Class 1A regional tournaments. All that action can be seen at www.coloradopreps.tv or www.chsaa.tv.
Final scores will be posted here throughout the day and those results can be shipped to Colorado Preps by text at 970.380.7737 or by email to kevin@coloradopreps.com. All results will also be posted on our twitter account which you can find with the hash tag #coloradopreps.

Ok im watching the Akron Limon game and the announcers are just about as much of a homer group as the LImon announcers were, but there comments about how do you beat Akron, I have the answer be Lutheran. After watching Lutheran destroy the LImon girls last week and then watching AKRON this week Lutheran is heads and shoulders better in comparison. I hope they play for the championship again. Would love to see that game
Looks to me that Akron beat Limon worse than Lutheran. Wouldn't say they would be head & shoulders above. Akron is the defending state champs!
