Eight teams remain in the chase for the state title, including the defending champs, Yuma, who is in search of its third title in the last four years. The field is loaded with other tradition-rich programs, all looking to add a championship to their trophy cases.

He has also coached boys basketball at Woodlin, Otis & Weldon Valley. In his spare time, Kerry substitute teaches at area schools.
