The Patriot League is dominant in Class 3A. Its representatives make up half the playoff field and five of the first seven seeds. Resurrection Christian heads up the group with its only loss coming to fourth-seeded University, a league foe. Liberty Common, Sterling, Eaton and Platte Valley have all taken turns securing victories in the stacked league.
Elsewhere, undefeated Lamar is seeded second. The Savages have strong stats, although they’ve faced only one team in the bracket. Lutheran rolled through the 3A Metro League with a strong schedule that included out-of-state opponents, while Alamosa and Bayfield bring their talents from the Western Slope.
