The high school fall sports season begins in earnest this week. On the first edition of the Colorado Preps Show presented by UPSWING, editor-in-chief Dan Mohrmann is joined by Preps scribes Doug Ottewill and James Nokes to give a preview of the season.
The guys go heavy into the football season, wondering if Cheyenne Wells has enough coming back to repeat in 6-man, how open the Class 4A landscape is and ponder the status of Cherry Creek as the ultimate state title favorite. UPSWING’s Jermaine Safford, a trainer of high-level athletes, also joins the conversation.
They also dive into what to look forward to with flag football, girls volleyball, boys soccer, boys golf and the rest of the fall sports. The Colorado Preps Show will air weekly for the entirety of the 2025-26 year and feature several media members from the preps beat.
