Mesa Ridge has become an agent of chaos this week. After a thrilling win over Palmer on Friday, the Terrors have been knocked off the perch in the Class 5A boys basketball rankings.
Vista Peak takes over the top spot with Mesa Ridge jumping up to No. 2. If the last week is any indication, the state playoffs are going to provide sparks from the second they begin.
The top 10 for each classification have no bearing on playoff position and while CHSAA’s Selection and Seeding Index provide a look at how playoff brackets will be determined, the CP Polls will give an overarching assessment of teams ranked based on talent and play.
