The girls volleyball postseason begins this week and the regional pairings have been set. CHSAA released the pairings on Monday with play expected to begin in all classifications on Friday.
Each region will advance one team to the state tournament which will begin on Nov. 9 at the Denver Coliseum.
Class 5A
After a dominant regular season that ended with a tournament win at the Cheyenne Mountain/Discovery Canyon Invite, Valor Christian takes the No. 1 seed for 5A regionals.
Chaparral, Rock Canyon, Legend, Mountain Vista, Pine Creek, Fossil Ridge, Grandview, Pueblo West, Erie, Castle View and Ralston Valley will host their respective regions.

Class 4A
After a bit of a downturn in recent years, Lewis-Palmer is back in the championship hunt and takes the No. 1 seed in 4A.
Windsor, Palmer Ridge, Thompson Valley, Lutheran, Palisade, Eagle Valley, Holy Family, Cheyenne Mountain, Green Mountain, Longmont and The Classical Academy are all serving as regional hosts.

Class 3A
Defending champion Platte Valley is looking to add to its record of most girls volleyball titles in state history. The Broncos are the No. 1 seed in 3A.
Jefferson Academy, Eaton, Delta, Timnath, Liberty Common, Kent Denver, Alamosa, Resurrection Christian, Centauri, Gunnison and Lamar also earned the right to host their regions.

Class 2A
The Wiggins Tigers have put together a stellar season and are eyeing their first state title since the Season C title they won at The Broadmoor World Arena. The Tigers enter the 2A postseason as the No. 1 seed.
Rye, Sedgwick County, Front Range Christian, Mancos, Plateau Valley, Hoehne, Strasburg, Vail Christian, Lake County, Calhan and Fowler are the other 2A region hosts.

Class 1A
The 1A regionals feature two-team parings, the only classification to do so. That makes things real simple for these teams. A win advances them to the Denver Coliseum and a loss sends them home. Three-time defending champion Merino is the top seed in 1A.
Stratton, McClave, Simla, Otis, Idalia, Briggsdale, Dove Creek, Haxtun, La Veta, Cheraw and Weldon Valley are the other 1A region hosts.
