CHSAA has released the 1A girls state tournament pairings with the opening round set for Thursday at the Events Center in Loveland.
GIRLS BASKETBALL: Seeding Predictions for Class 2A and 1A
State quarterfinals for Classes 2A and 1A are set for next Thursday at the Events Centers in Pueblo (2A) and Loveland (1A). With district tournaments complete, the 32 qualifiers in Class 3A now anxiously await the release of the state tournament bracket later today. The CHSAA seeding committee is already working on the pairings but as we do each year, we provide our thoughts ahead of the official release.
GIRLS BASKETBALL: 1A Regional Seeding Thoughts
District tournaments are complete in Class 1A girls and 22 teams have qualified for regional tournaments. Only four of those teams know their next opponent as the remaining 18 will wait for a seeding committee to lay out nine team brackets in two regionals.
