**
(1) Limon at (6) Buena Vista
After beating Strasburg 27-0 Limon went into its bye week with a 3-0 and looking like the team has been rattling off state championships for the last several years. Gabe Schubarth leads the Badgers with
337 total rushing yards and four touchdowns.
Penalties killed the Demons in a stunning loss to Gunnison last week. Haden Camp ran for 120 yards and two touchdowns and had two big passing opportunities to get them into scoring position on the final drive, but the ball bounced the way of the Cowboys.
(3) Strasburg at (2A 9) Bennett
Fresh off a bye, Strasburg’s last two games were a close win over Wiggins and a loss to Limon. Zach Marrero and Thomas Devlin combine to run for about 105 yards per game and have scored a combined five rushing touchdowns.
Bennett is 3-0 after jumping out to a big lead over Banning Lewis and holding off a late comeback attempt from the Stallions.
(7) Monte Vista at Peyton
The Pirates are off to a strong start after getting two blowout wins to start the year and then edging Gunnison before their bye week. DeAngelo Archuleta and Khegan Gunter are each rushing for over 100 yards per game and have combined to score 11 touchdowns.
The Panthers are having a down year by their standards and are coming a win over Trinidad, their first victory of the season.
Roaring Fork at (8) Meeker
After a week off, the Cowboys are back in action as they host Roaring Fork. In their most recent game, Meeker rolled to a 41-14 win over Aspen. Connor Blunt ran the ball just seven times, but three of those attempts went for touchdowns.
Roaring Fork comes in with a bit of momentum after getting a 44-0 win over Clear Creek last week.
Bayfield at (9) Centauri
The defending 1A champions are losers of two straight after beating Pagosa Springs to start the season. With league play a week away, this game against 0-3 Bayfield might just be what the Falcons need to get back on track.
Olathe at (10) Gunnison
The Cowboys got one of the biggest wins of Week 4 when they traveled to Buena Vista to beat the then-No. 2 Demons. They entered the CHSAANow.com top 10 as a result and will try to move to 2-0 in league play as they host Olathe.
