Colorado Preps has again taken rankings from five different media sources to present our weekly composite football polls. Top 10 votes are taken from RPI, Packard, CHSAANOW, Colorado Preps and MaxPreps to compile the poll. Teams are awarded 10 points for a first-place vote, nine for second place, eight for third and on through the top ten from each service.
We list the teams in order by total number of points and each team that received at least one vote is on the chart. Since all five media services did not provide a top ten for the six-man division, we did not include them on the list. That class of course has playoffs underway this week.
77 teams across the six classes earn at least one vote from one media source and seven of them were in the same position in every poll. Valor Christian (5A), Mead (4A), Bennett (1A), and Sedgwick County (8man) were unanimous number one teams in their respective polls. Meeker (1A) and Palmer Ridge (3A) were also voted second in every poll this week. Limon (1A) was also selected fifth by every media outlet this week.
