With basketball season now underway, Colorado Preps continues its look at the top players and teams from each conference across the state.  Today we look at all the teams inside the 2A Black Forest.
Peyton and Simla both made runs to the regional finals a year ago but neither could get the win that pushed them into the state tournament.  The Panthers were eliminated by Limon 72-28 and finished the season at 18-6 overall.  Simla, which closed the season at 17-7, topped Fowler in their regional opener but came up short to Del Norte 54-42 in the finals.
We list the top three returnees for each club in several categories.  Numbers are based on stats posted to MaxPreps during the 2018-19 season.
