Post-season play in Class 2A girls’ basketball begins the last week of February so Colorado Preps will begin the annual process of projecting which teams will advance in the playoffs. First up are the selections for which teams will advance from district tournaments and on to the regional round. District 3 sends three teams to regionals and District 5 will advance five with the remaining districts all sending their top four clubs. District champs will host regional tournaments and be seeded one through eight based on RPI.
Remaining teams will then be placed in the bracket based on RPI with the committee having the option of moving teams slotted 25-32 for travel and geography concerns.

- District #1: Sanford, Del Norte, Center, Sargent
- District #2: Holyoke, Wray, Yuma, Sedgwick County
- District #3: Ignacio, Telluride, Ridgway
- District #4: Limon, Denver Christian, Byers, Lotus
- District #5: Meeker, Hotchkiss, Soroco, Hayden, Plateau Valley
- District #6: Rye, Rocky Ford, Hoehne, Swink
- District #7: Heritage Chrsitian, Dawson, Lyons, Union Colony Prep
- District #8: Simla, Colorado Springs School, Peyton, Calhan
