Class 3A girls’ basketball will send 32 teams to the state tournament bracket but only 14 of the spots are guaranteed through district tournament play. The top two teams from each district advance with the remaining entrants determined by RPI standings at the end of the regular season. As we look down the road to the opening of post-season play, Colorado Preps starts the process of predicting which teams will advance from districts.
These are projections only and they’re subject to change over the final four weeks of the regular season. District winners can host the first two rounds of the state tournament if they finish in the top 16 of RPI.
