Class 3A regional wrestling tournaments take place at Brush, Holy Family, Gunnison and Sierra this week with all wrestlers hoping to reach next week’s state tournament. To get there, a wrestler must finish in the top four of his weight class this weekend. With information provided by Tim Yount of On the Mat, Colorado Preps breaks down where top 10 wrestlers in each weight division are headed.

Didn’t take long to find the most intriguing bracket as it comes at 138 pounds in the East region. The top three wrestlers and four of the top wrestlers as ranked by On the Mat are grouped together there.
The East features four number one ranked wrestlers overall but the most top heavy bracket is in the North. Six number one wrestlers will shoot for regional titles there this weekend. Three are found in the South with only one top rated wrestler found in the West bracket.
