Heading into the Class 4A state volleyball tournament, the targets are clear.
Since 2007, Cheyenne Mountain and Lewis-Palmer have combined for 12 finals appearances in and eight championships.
Hence, it’s up to the other 10, seven of which have yet to hoist a trophy, to make some noise when play opens on Friday morning at the Denver Coliseum.
The race will last into Saturday evening, when five finals will be conducted simultaneously.
