Colorado Preps has released the Power Five rankings for week nine.  Here’s a quick look at Class 5A as they enter the final week of the regular season.

1.        Pomona
2.       Mullen
3.       Columbine
4.       Eaglecrest
5.       Grandview
Next 3:  Regis, Valor Christian, Cherry Creek
Teams to watch:  Chaparral, Legacy, Ralston Valley
Changes were almost in-store for the top five this week but Mullen kept things intact by coming back from 23 points down to stun Fairview.  That allowed the Mustangs to stay put at number two in our power rankings this week and they may have dropped a spot if not for an earlier win over Columbine.  That head-to-head decision makes us keep Mullen in the second spot.  The rest of the top five remains unchanged.  Legacy and Ralston Valley join the teams to watch list replacing Highlands Ranch and Doherty who were both beaten over the weekend.
