Quality losses by three teams caused all to lose one spot in the Class 5A rankings this week so there is minor movement among the clubs.  Grandview, Highlands Ranch, and Ralston Valley though remain a very solid top three.

NOTES:  Results from last week should impact how the 5A playoff bracket lays out as several top teams squared off.  Grandview pulled away from Horizon and Ralston Valley topped Cherry Creek in the two most important matchups of the past seven days.  Horizon lost one spot from fourth to fifth and that allowed Doherty to move up to fourth.  The Spartans picked up a quality win of their own against Denver East.  Cherry Creek also lost one spot to seventh as Regis bumped up.  The Raiders have a second-place battle with Chaparral coming up on Monday.  Fruita Monument lost to Durango but remains in control of the Southwestern chase.  That loss however drops the Wildcats to tenth this week.   Lakewood replaces Fairview in the rankings.  The Tigers need a win over Bear Creek this week to grab second place in the Jeffco behind Ralston Valley.  Fairview is officially only 11-10 after forfeiting eight games last week but they remain solidly in the playoff bracket with a RPI ranking of 25th.
