The Class 5A Volleyball field has been trimmed to a dozen teams and those clubs head to Denver this weekend for the state tournament.  A new format greets them as the event has been stretched to three days and moved from a pool format to a double-elimination bracket to the semifinals.  Once the Final Four is set, the tournament then becomes single elimination with the champion crowned Saturday evening at the Denver Coliseum.
