All-State Football teams for the 2018 season have been announced.  Selections are based on vote totals from coaches in each class across the state and are presented by CHSAA, MaxPreps and the Colorado Preps Network.
Below are the first and second team all-state selections for the six and eight man divisions.
 

All State Football

Named the six man Player of the Year for 2018, Bryson Long amassed 2,072 yards and 47 touchdowns on the ground as a senior. He also scored five touchdowns as a receiver and led the team with 164 tackles; twice as many as the next Bulldog. PHOTO PROVIDED BY KC HOLTMAN

All State Football

Sedgwick County Senior Layne Green is the eight man Player of the Year for a second straight season. He led the Cougars to a fourth consecutive state championship while rushing for 1,170 yards and 23 touchdowns on just 157 attempts.
