All-State Football teams for the 2018 season have been announced.  Selections are based on vote totals from coaches in each class across the state and are presented by CHSAA, MaxPreps and the Colorado Preps Network.
Below are the first and second team all-state selections for Classes 1A, 2A and 3A.

La Junta’s Jon Nuschy has been named the Class 2A Player of the Year for the third consecutive season. Over those three years, he directed the Tigers to a 37-2 record and two state championships. All State Football

Ty Evans was selected as the Class 3A Player of the Year for 2018; the second consecutive year the quarterback has won the award. Hew threw 2,713 yards and 34 TD’s as a senior in leading the Bears to back to back state championships; the first two in school history. Over the past three years, Evans threw for 9,453 yards and 106 TD’s.
