CHSAA this week approved the addition of a sixth classification in basketball so that will cause many schools to move divisions and possibly join a new conference. After posting the team breakdown by class earlier this week, Colorado Preps now divides the school based on league structure.
Like many others, we are still trying to sort out the exact leagues as many conferences listed below feature teams from two to three conferences. And as a result, the league may be broken down a bit narrower than we have listed. For example, we have the Denver Prep league with 15 members and we list them as one division right now but that could change as everything sorts out for the coming season.
We will try to track those announcements as they occur. You will also see a few 2A school listed in our breakdown as they will compete in 3A leagues during the regular season.
