The big story coming out of the weekend was that Mountain Vista looked like the football team to beat in Class 5A. The voters now feel the same way as the Golden Eagles came in as the No. 1 team in this week’s football poll.
The other six No. 1 teams held their spots, but a big shakeup in 2A saw Berthoud and Basalt shoot up the rankings.
