Most of the activity on the Thursday top 10 boys’ basketball schedule is found in Class 1A where six teams step on the hardwood but the main attraction is in Class 4A between #1 Pueblo South and #5 Pueblo County. It’s the first of two meetings between the city rivals and outcomes in each should determine the league championship.
In Class 2A, #2 Denver Christian could get tested by Dayspring Christian in the Mile High and the Thunder also have a showdown with #8 Highland (3A) on Saturday. In Class 1A, three teams from the 5280 are in the top 10 and those standings will loosen up a bit with three games on the slate this evening.
