Regional finals are today and we will create eight state tournament qualifiers for both Class 1A and 2A boys’ basketball. Once all eight qualifiers are determined the bracket will be reseeded ahead of the state quarterfinals in Greeley (1A) and Loveland (2A) respectively. Other criteria will be involved, but RPI standings will be a huge factor in placing the teams in the pairings. With that in mind, we provide the standings for the teams still in the chase for a state tournament bid. These have not been updated since March 1st but a fresh set of numbers will come out once regionals wrap up.
We list only Classes 1A and 2A and teams in 3A, 4A and 5A all play their bracket out from start to finish and RPI does not play a role once pairings have been released. Also provided are direct links to the complete regional results and pairings for each division.
