Boys Top 10

The 5A Centennial and 4A Pikes Peak conferences take center stage for the top 10 boys basketball schedule Wednesday night.

In the Pikes Peak, #1 Lewis Palmer shares the lead with Air Academy atop the standings.  The Rangers are favored at home while the Kadets must upset 4th ranked Cheyenne Mountain to keep pace.

Another key game in the 4A ranks is found between #9 Wheat Ridge and Golden as the winner takes over the top spot in the Jeffco.  Both teams are 3-0 in conference play.

In Class 5A, Grandview is alone in first in the Centennial so a win over Mullen keeps them there.  Overland and Smoky Hill are tied with Eaglecrest (all 3-1) for second place so the loser between the Blazers and Buffaloes could be two games off the pace at nights end.   Eaglecrest, is unranked, and meets Arapahoe this evening.
