Four games involving the 5A Continental race dominate the boys’ basketball top 10 schedule for Thursday.  Only one of the games includes two teams still unbeaten in league play as #10 Highlands Ranch takes on Legend.  Those two are tied with Rock Canyon, Chaparral and ThunderRidge for the early conference lead.
#4 Longmont (4A) looks to stay alone atop the Northern league standings as they host Northridge.  The Trojans are 5-0 in conference play with a one game edge on Thompson Valley.  The top two squads collide next Tuesday.
Elsewhere, a non-league matchup between #8 Ignacio and Sargent could also be interesting.  Sargent looks a two-game losing skid and the Bobcats could use a solid non-league win to boost RPI as they were ranked 22nd in the first standings released earlier this week.
