Wednesday marks the beginning of a critical stretch for #8 Falcon as they contend for the 4A Pikes Peak championship.  The Falcons are 6-2 in league play and one game behind Lewis Palmer and one ahead of Palmer Ridge.  They meet Palmer Ridge on Wednesday and Lewis Palmer on Friday.
Elsewhere in top 10 action, Valor Christian (8-0), Golden (7-1) and Evergreen (6-2) look to maintain the top three positions in the 4A Jeffco and the winner between #9 DSST-Stapleton and Clear Creek could virtually clinch a top two finish in the 3A Frontier.
In Class 5A, Overland (8-0) has a three-game edge in the Centennial but the next four spots are separated by just one game so all results are important for post-season positioning.
