The first-ever flag football playoffs are set to begin. On Sunday, CHSAA released the state tournament brackets for both Class 5A and 4A with games to begin on Tuesday.
Mountain Vista takes the top seed in the 5A bracket after capping a 15-0 season which came with a league title. They’ll await the winner of the play-in game between Horizon and Regis Jesuit.
Arvada West, Valor Christian and Cherry Creek will also face winners of play-in games.
Class 4A
The Classical Academy heads into the tournament as the top overall seed with Mountain View, Vista Ridge and Mullen rounding out the top four. Those are the teams that await the winners of the four play-in games.
