Conference Breakdown

There’s not much left to decide in the small school ranks, as every league champion in both six and eight -man football have been crowned.  Conference play has wrapped up in six-man as those teams will play the final week for final RPI points only.  In eight man, there are just a few positions behind league champions still up for grabs.

Below are conference breakdowns for both classifications.  We will add RPI numbers for each league once the numbers are updated on Sunday.

 

EIGHT MAN

ARK VALLEY

  • Hoehne has clinched league championship
  • Holly needs a win over Springfield to wrap up second place
  • If Holly wins; then Fowler is third with win over Las Animas
  • Fowler and Springfield cannot fall farther than fourth
  • RPI:

CENTRAL

  • Front Range Christian has clinched the league championship
  • Winner between Elbert-South Park is second and the loser is third
  • RPI:

MOUNTAIN

  • Mancos has clinched league championship
  • Sargent clinches second by beating Sanford
  • If Mancos and Sargent both win; then Sanford, Dove Creek and Norwood all share third place
  • If Mancos beats Dove Creek, then Sanford can land second place by beating Sargent
  • RPI:

NORTHWEST

  • West Grand has clinched league championship
  • Rangely has clinched second place
  • Vail Christian has clinched third
  • RPI:

PLAINS

  • Sedgwick County has clinched league championship
  • Caliche has clinched second
  • Winner of Akron-Dayspring Christian is third and loser is fourth
  • RPI:

SOUTHERN

  • Pikes Peak Christian has clinched league championship
  • Simla has clinched second
  • RPI:

 

SIX MAN

CENTRAL

  • Genoa Hugo has clinched league championship
  • Deer Trail has clinched second
  • RPI:

EAST CENTRAL

  • Stratton/Liberty has clinched league championship
  • Arickaree/Woodlin has clinched second
  • Otis is third, Idalia fourth and Flagler/Hi Plains 5th
  • RPI:

NORTH

  • Peetz has clinched league championship
  • Prairie has clinched second
  • Fleming is third, North Park fourth, Briggsdale fifth and Weldon Valley sixth

SOUTH CENTRAL

  • Manzanola has clinched league championship
  • La Veta has clinched second
  • Kim/Branson is third and Primero fourth

SOUTHEAST

  • Kit Carson has clinched league championship
  • Granada has clinched second
  • Cheyenne Wells is third, Walsh fourth, Eads fifth and Cheraw sixth

SOUTHWEST

  • Mountain Valley has clinched league championship
  • Cotopaxi has clinched second
  • Sierra Grande is third and Cripple Creek fourth
