Week two of the football season got underway on Thursday with several ranked teams picking up solid wins and the action picks up even more on Friday as most of the teams in state see action this week.  We’ll provide complete coverage on the Colorado Preps Scoreboard Show and we have a great list of coaches lined up for interviews.
Our Scoreboard Show airs from 9:30-11:00pm and can be heard on 30 radio affiliates across the state.  A list of affiliates can be found here.
New this year, the Scoreboard Show is available on your Amazon Alexa device and through a new mobile app that should launch next week.
For Alexa devices, simply ask Alexa to “Play the Colorado Preps Network”.  Please note the service is only active during the live production of the program – each Friday night from 9:30-11:00pm.
While we run through all the scores in all classes from all corners in the state, we focus on several top-level battles and visit with winning coaches.  Our roster of games for this week is completely full and we’ll do our best to contact every coach.

Colorado Preps also previews each week of football in all classes with written content through the week and Colorado PrepsCast.

We also want to provide another reminder about subscribing to our expanded Colorado Preps Magazine.  Now available in digital format, we provide coverage throughout the entire state on a monthly basis.  Our August Fall Preview issue is still available and content for September is already in the works.  Some of the topics we’re covering involve a look at how volleyball has changed since becoming sanctioned in 1975, how football teams in very remote areas keep their program alive and well, and a look back at the 1999 Wiggins championship football team.  Also features on a softball team and cross country.  Click here to subscribe.
