With the state basketball playoffs starting later this month, Colorado Preps will again provide combined rankings so teams have an idea on where they may be placed in the tournament bracket.   Conference champions earn automatic berths to the 4A and 5A tournament with the remaining slots determined by RPI.  Once the 48-team field is set, then more components can be brought into the mix to help determine seeding and those numbers are below.

The standings you see are based on rankings from RPI, MaxPreps and the coaches poll as of February 2nd.  Standings for 4A and 5A are the only divisions posted as Classes 1A, 2A and 3A open the post-season in district tournaments so combined rankings won’t be a factor until the regional round the first week of March.

Please note these standings are unofficial but the same formula utilized by CHSAA is used.
