GIRLS TOP 10 – JAN 29TH

Girls Top 10

First place in the Southwestern league is on the line this evening as Montrose plays host to Grand Junction.  The game tees up the girls’ basketball top 10 schedule for Tuesday.  Grand Junction is 2-0 in league play and Montrose 3-0 and tonight’s game is the first of two meetings that should determine the top two conference spots.

In Class 3A, league positioning continues in three conferences.  Colorado Springs Christian looks to maintain the Tri Peaks lead as they venture to Vanguard.  If the Lions win, then the survivor between St Mary’s and Manitou Springs will be alone in second.  Delta has a first place battle with Moffat County coming up later in the week but the Panthers can’t look past a very good Cedaredge team that is tied for third and just one game back.  Eaton leads Platte Valley and Resurrection Christian by one game in the Patriot.  The Reds have already beaten Platte Valley so a win over Resurrection Christian this evening moves them very close to the conference championship.

Below is the full schedule for ranked teams.  Final scores can be sent to Colorado Preps by text to 970.380.7737.
