It’s a very good Thursday schedule across the state as several top 10 girls’ basketball teams step on the court; some for the first time. The opening week is dominated by tournaments and one of the best is found in Kersey where Platte Valley hosts the Northern Colorado Roundball Classic. The Broncos are ranked in the 3A and joined by fellow ranked teams Eaton and University there along with an Academy club that won 22 games a year ago.
