The top 10 schedule for girls’ basketball tonight is limited in the number of the games but for not quality.  The list includes three matchups featuring teams that are both unbeaten in conference play and battling for league championships.
In Class 2A, #9 Vail Christian is already 4-0 in the Western Slope and makes the trip to Soroco.  The Rams are 2-0 in league play and the two are tied with Hotchkiss for the early conference play.  Tonight’s game starts a difficult three-day stretch for the Saints as they also visit Meeker on Saturday.
In Class 3A, #7 Resurrection Christian is 3-0 to match the early start of Sterling and Eaton inside the Patriot.  Liberty Common is 2-0 and owns a piece of the first piece prize as well.  The teams are a combined 16-4 overall.
Four teams share the 5A Continental lead as Highlands Ranch, Regis, Chaparral and Castle View have all opened at 2-0.  One team will fall off the pace tonight as #8 Castle View heads to Chaparral.
