Even though a large share of conference champions have already been crowned, the final week of the volleyball schedule still includes a good number of non-league matchups of note. Each of the contests below will impact the final RPI standings and could change how teams are seeded in the playoff brackets.
Thursday probably continues the best slate as #2 Fleming heads to #3 Merino in Class 1A as those two clubs play for the first time since battling in the state finals. Merino won that match in five grueling sets.
Also on top that night is a top five battle between Dayspring Christian from 2A and Briggsdale from 1A. That match will only boost the RPI numbers for both clubs as both will host regionals next week. Resurrection Christian and DSST-Montview also play for a second time this year as the Cougars won a quick 2-0 matchup in the Machebeuf tournament last month.
