Even though it’s right in the middle of district basketball week, there is work going on to layout the conferences and classifications for the 2022-24 football cycle. The CHSAA league committee met this month to finalize conferences for all seven classes of football and the proposal below will be presented to the full legislative council for approval in April. If approved there, the league structure will be setup as represented below.
There are a few concerns involving scheduling in some classifications and league unbalance. We will make some notes and provide a follow-up in the near future but we welcome your thoughts on the layout as we head into the next football season in August.
