Each Sunday we take the most recent RPI rankings to place teams in projected regional volleyball pairings for Classes 4A and 5A. The top 12 teams in the RPI at the end of the season host three team events with winners advancing to the state tournament.
The 36 qualifiers are placed in a pre-determined bracket but the CHSAA volleyball committee could in the lowest 12 spots for geographical purposes or to prevent teams from the same conference being place in the same regional. We “true seed” the bracket based on RPI.
