RPI standings for Class 1A volleyball teams don’t come into play too much until the state tournament as the numbers are used to select four wildcard teams and then to seed the state tournament. Until then teams advance to the state event through district and regional tournaments. As a change-up this week, we list the latest RPI standings by district.
This listing will give you an idea of the favorites expected to advance into regionals. The top three teams from each district move on. Please note the RPI standings may or may not be used to seed district tournaments. Each bracket has their own manner in placing teams in their local brackets. Winners then advance to a pre-determined regional bracket.
