Doherty at Legend
This outcome could eventually decide third place in the 5A South but Doherty is also in contention for the runner-up spot as well.  A win pushes them into a second-place tie with Fountain Fort Carson and the two Colorado Springs area clubs meet next week.  Legend is 28th in RPI and could use a win to enhance their efforts for a post-season berth.  Doherty is 22nd and also on the bubble.
Ralston Valley at Lakewood
Coming off a loss to Columbine, Ralston Valley needs a win to remain in the chase for second place inside the 5A Metro West.  A win sets up a showdown with Pomona next week for that spot.  Lakewood is searching for their first league win.  The Tigers though are 20th in RPI and are battling for a playoff berth in the 24-team field.  Ralston Valley is 8th in RPI.
Fruita Monument at Hinkley
The Wildcats are 2-0 inside the 4A Pioneer and a victory at Hinkley puts them into a first-place tie with Standley Lake atop the standings.  Fruita and Standley Lake meet up next week.  Fruita is 6th in RPI and Hinkley checks in at #30 but they should move up regardless as this game with boost their strength of schedule.  It’s currently 40th in the division.
Grand Junction at Bear Creek
The 4A Jeffco race is a crowded one and will get even more bunched up after this one finishes.  The winner creates a three-way tie with Chatfield and Dakota Ridge (2-1) atop the standings and regardless of the result, all six conference teams will be within one game of the lead entering the final two weeks of the regular season.
Frederick at Denver North
Mead was very impressive in their win over Holy Family on Friday so Frederick must gain the road win today to stay tied with the Mavericks for the 3A North Metro lead.  Denver North is 1-1 and still in the title chase and an upset makes their game with Mead next week all the more important.  Frederick is 10th in RPI and Denver North 17th.
Lewis Palmer at Discovery Canyon
Discovery Canyon needs a win to keep pace with Palmer Ridge in the 3A Central.  Should the Thunder gain the win, it sets up a league championship showdown with the defending champs in week 11.  Lewis Palmer (1-1) moves into second place with an upset.  The Rangers are 18th in RPI with Discovery Canyon #2.
Bennett at D’Evelyn
With Faith Christian winning on Friday, D’Evelyn must grab a victory to stay tied with the Eagles atop the 2A Flatirons conference.  Bennett sits in third (2-1) one game back so they remain in the title chase as well.  The Tigers are also 19th in RPI and battling for one of the last 2A playoff berths.  D’Evelyn is 16th and not safely in the bracket just yet either.
Crowley County at Peyton
Easily the most important game on the schedule today as the winner is the 1A Santa Fe league champion.  Both teams are 3-0 in conference play and rolled through their league schedule thus far.  Both teams are in the top 10 of RPI so the winner is in good shape to land a home game in the opening round of the playoffs as well.
Yuma at Burlington
Burlington is 5th in RPI and safely in the 1A playoffs but Yuma is 17th this week and trying to become the fifth team from the North Central to get a bid.  A Burlington win keeps them in line for at least a second place finish and they can earn a piece of the top spot by winning their final two games if Holyoke also knocks off Limon in the final week.
St Mary’s at Colorado Springs Christian
Colorado Springs Christian can clinch a top two finish in the 1A Tri Peaks and set up an unbeaten league championship battle with Florence in week 10.
Lake County at Platte Canyon
Platte Canyon can move into sole possession of the 1A Foothills with a home win.  They cannot clinch the title with a win as they still have a game with Manual next week.  Manual lost to Clear Creek in overtime on Friday so both teams are one game back of the Huskies.
Briggsdale at North Park
Briggsdale is 15th in RPI with North Park sitting in the 17th spot.  Only the top 16 teams make the six man playoffs both teams are squarely on the bubble.  The winner also lands fourth in the rugged North league.
