The 2026 Class 5A and 4A hockey state championship games will be played at DU’s Magness Arena on Monday starting at 5 p.m.
Steamboat Springs is looking to repeat as the 4A champion after beating Colorado Springs District 11 4-1 at Ed Robson Arena in Colorado Springs. The Sailors will face Pine Creek, who got a 2-1 win over Colorado Academy thanks to a late goal from Henry Hoghaug.
Poudre School District returns to the 5A title game for the second year in a row thanks to a 3-1 win over Regis Jesuit. The Stars lost to Valor Christian in 2025 and are looking for the first title in program history. Cherry Creek knocked off Valor Christian, the defending 5A champion, 3-1 in the semifinals to setup a showdown with PSD.
