While five of the seven classifications are involved in playoff football this week, Classes 3A and 4A finish up the regular season and several league championships remain up for grabs.  Class 4A, in fact, has yet to crown a conference champion as all seven will be decided here in the final week.  Three of the seven 3A conferences have decided a winner but the remaining four will be determined on Friday and Saturday.
Colorado Preps will offer two Scoreboard Shows this week.  Our regular edition on Friday from 9:30-11:00pm will focus on the 3A and 4A ranks plus playoff games in Class 5A.  November also marks the start of our special playoff editions with coverage from Saturday at 3:30-5:00pm.  We’ll update and recap playoff scores from 2A, 1A, 8man and 6man.

CLASS 4A

Loveland at Skyline
Vista Peak at Fruita Monument
Pueblo West at Rampart
Dakota Ridge at Golden
Heritage at Ponderosa
Pine Creek at Vista Ridge
Broomfield at Longmont
NOTES:  The first three games on the list are battles of league unbeatens with the winner landing the conference champion and the loser ending up second.  Loveland and Skyline face off in a state finals rematch with the winner landing the Longs Peak champion.  Vista Peak and Fruita Monument are both 4-0 inside the Pioneer while Pueblo West and Rampart square off for the Pikes Peak championship.  The remaining four involve one team on top but needing a win to prevent a possible three-way tie for the league crown.  Dakota Ridge lands the Jeffco title by beating Golden; Ponderosa is the Metro winner by beating Heritage; Pine Creek wraps up the Southern crown with a win at Vista Ridge and Broomfield finishes the regular season 10-0 and claims the Northern crown by winning at Longmont.

CLASS 3A

Palmer Ridge at Discovery Canyon
Frederick at Mead
Fort Morgan at Erie
Pueblo East at Durango
NOTES:  Just four games on our list this week but the top three pit teams unbeaten in league play against one another for conference championships.  Palmer Ridge and Discovery Canyon face off for the Central crown and both teams are also in the top five of RPI.  Mead and Frederick are both 4-0 inside the North Metro with the winner claiming that crown.  Mead is also battling the likes of Palmer Ridge and Pueblo South for the top overall playoff seed.  Fort Morgan and Erie battled for the North Valley crown in the final week a year ago and history repeats itself this week.  The winner could also get a home game in round one of the playoffs.  Pueblo East and Durango square off for the runner-up to Pueblo South in the South Central conference.  East is 15th in RPI so a win boosts their playoff chances while Durango could secure a home game in round one with a victory.  All other league championships have been decided as Conifer has won the Mt Metro; Harrison the Southern; Palisade the Western Slope and Pueblo South the South Central.
