Even though Classes 1A and 2A determine eight state qualifiers through district and regional tournaments, RPI standings remain a factor for seeding purposes in tournaments and to determine the four wildcards to the state tournaments. We list the top 20 in each class as of Sunday.
The top three teams from each district tournament this week advance to the regional round next week. Moving to a regional tournament is very important as only those clubs who do so are eligible to become a state tournament wildcard. The four wildcards will be selected based on RPI following regional events.
RPI standings will also be used to seed the four pools at each state tournament. Â The state event is set for November 10th and 11th at the Denver Coliseum.
