We continue our look at each team in Class 1A girls’ basketball with a rundown of the top returnees from the 5280 conference.  As teams prep for the upcoming 2019-20 season, we run down the top players returning for each club within the conference.  Numbers are based on statistics submitted to MaxPreps from last year and do not take into account those players who may have moved or transferred to another school.
Although the 5280 league was again without a team in the state tournament, the 5280 produced four clubs that earned at least 10 wins last season.  Shining Mountain had the best overall record and also grabbed the league title by one game over Belleview Christian.  The two rivals combined for 35 wins but both were eliminated in the regional tournament.
