3A GIRLS – TOP RETURNEES

The 2019-20 basketball season is underway this week and we continue our preview series by looking at the top returnees for Class 3A girls’ basketball.  Based on numbers reported to MaxPreps last year, we list the top 20 players returning in scoring, rebounding, assists, steals and three pointers.

St Mary’s is the defending state champion as they downed Colorado Springs Christian 56-34 in the finals last March.  The Pirates also open this season ranked #1 in the division as they return a very talented backcourt in Josephine Howery and Seneca Hackley.  Other clubs coming off state tournament berths are Eaton, Pagosa Springs, Lutheran, Centauri, Delta and Alamosa.
